With views looking across the street to the Admiralty House (now a Navy Museum) and the MacDonald Bridge, you're in a prime location and you can walk or bus (located on Gottingen Street, a major thoroughfare and bus route) to several nearby amenities, including local markets, coffee shops, restaurants, retails stores, historic sites and more.
If you don't feel like going far, pop one floor down and enjoy a true Nova Scotian experience courtesy of The Narrows Pub, serving up local traditional maritime food from scratch, local craft beer, cider and wine. If it's a Thursday, (sometimes Friday), Saturday, Sunday or Monday evening, check out the local musicians playing traditional maritime tunes in the front room and you may find yourself in the midst of a good old fashion Kitchen Party.

The rental unit is located in a 1896 heritage designated home (H.R Silver House) in Halifax's North End at 2720 Gottingen Street, a main thoroughfare for the city. The rental unit is located only seconds from the MacDonald Bridge which connects Halifax to Dartmouth. The rental unit is located across from the Navy Command Museum and seconds before the main gates of Stadacona, the military base. You can pull into the driveway of The Narrows Public House and park your vehicle in one of the spaces behind the pub if there is one available. If not, you can look for parking on the street out front of the pub. To get to the unit, walk up the driveway and go behind the pub. There is a large steel staircase that leads you up to your room on the Second Level.
